Andrew Silk Owner & Managing Director

Andrew’s love for music started at just 3 years old, when he began playing the Steel Drum. He spent a large part of his youth playing in Steel Bands and participating in competitions. His talent for Music was very quickly realised and he went on to study the Drum Kit, Saxophone, Piano and Voice.

In 2008, Andrew was awarded a place at the prestigious BRIT School for Performing Arts and Technology. Here, he spent 4 years perfecting his craft and performing in many high profile shows and events.

At just 15 years old, Andrew began teaching Steel Pan at a local community project and then went on to begin private tuition in Piano and Music Theory.

Throughout his 20s, Andrew was a successful senior manager in the hospitality sector however, always found dreaming of a life of performing and teaching! It is this dream that led Andrew to launching his School of Music – providing private tuition in Voice, Drum Kit and Music Theory!

She later moved into Personal Assistance, supporting Senior Managers until 2 years ago when she gave up work to become an amazing mummy to Andrew’s 2 nieces, Izzie and Amaleigh.

Yes; thats right! Sarah is indeed my big sister (though she is a lot shorter than I am)!
