What can I expect from my lessons?
We warmly invite all new students to enjoy a free 30-minute Discovery Session! During your Discovery Session, we’ll talk about your musical background, discuss your goals, and provide some tuition so you can experience your teacher’s style firsthand.

Throughout your lessons with us, we will work with you to teach you all of the techniques you need to know to improve your singing voice. Here are just some examples of the things we might cover in your lessons:
- Warm Up & Warm Down – so you can prepare your voice before singing to prevent injury, strain or damage to your voice.
- Vowel Placement – so you can shape the melody, create rhythm and convey the emotions and meaning of the song.
- Agility – so you can move quickly between vocal registers, bigger intervals and perform vocal runs with ease.
- Articulation – so you are able to sing songs clearly, using the voice as an instrument.
- Vocal Registers – learn about the different registers of our voice so you can create depth and colour with your voice.
- Range Increasing Exercises – so you can improve and increase your range over time.
Remember: the lessons are yours to use as you wish. Your teacher will always have content planned for you however, if there is something particular that you would like to give a go, let them know so they can plan it into your sessions for you!
